IDENTITÀ GOLOSE ALL YEAR ROUND IN THE HEART OF MILAN

The original concept conceived for EXPO 2015 - a multipurpose space created in collaboration with some of the most prestigious names in the world of furniture and design - in six months welcomed 200 chefs from around the world and over 56,000 enthusiasts, journalists and VIPs visiting the universal exposition.
This exceptional experience gave rise to an ambitious new project:

IDENTITÀ MILANO

INTERNATIONAL HUB OF GASTRONOMY AND CULINARY ARTS

A permanent laboratory in the heart of Milan, a place dedicated to contemporary conviviality and experimentation at which to welcome the shining stars of the Italian and international culinary scene

A special space for initiatives and previews connected to research into signature cuisine and studies of the latest trends and means of consumption that have led to Identità Golose’s success, topicality and unflagging journalistic appeal.

THE NEW CONCEPT: OBJECTIVES

Identità Milano - International Hub of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts will be a place for meetings and experimentation meant to represent the contemporary and international culinary spirit of a city which like never before is prepared to interpret the latest trends without forgoing its identity.

Identità Milano – International Hub of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts has an innate vocation: being an exchange platform that develops entertainment, experimentation and research activities around quality cuisine, promoting a new form of conviviality that is open to new languages and means of consumption on an international scale.

Thanks to the architectural approaches adopted, the Identità Milano facilities are suitable for hosting conventions, meetings, courses, presentations, guided tastings, didactic workshops, cooking shows and team building events.

THE NEW CONCEPT: THE FACILITIES

Identità Milano - International Hub of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts will be located just a short walk away from Via Manzoni and La Scala. The facilities, in Via Romagnosi 3, will find their home inside a prestigious building from the late 1800s, which until 2016 was the headquarters of an important cultural institution: the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation.

The new facilities, conceived to represent an ideal bridge between past and future, will be located on two floors - the ground floor and an underground level—with a total of approximately 1000 square meters.
The rooms on the ground floor are distinctive with their cathedral ceilings and the appearance of original structural and decorative elements that give the interior areas personality and uniqueness. The architectural project calls for repurposing existing elements, adapting to the new needs and new intended uses of the rooms.
